TOWN OF KILDARE
*SUMMARY OF THE BOARD OF REVIEW
August 11, 2009

Members Present: Town Chairman, Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and David Singer; Town Clerk, Beth Onofrio. 

Also Present: Patrick Hart of Hart Appraisals, Inc. (Town Assessor) 

Chairman Dennis Franek reconvened the Board of Review on August 11, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall. This hearing was videotaped. 

A motion was made by Beth Onofrio to appoint Dennis Franek as Board Chairman; second by Schneider and carried unanimously. 

Addressing administrative matters, Onofrio reported the following:

Franek, Schneider and Onofrio met state requirements for Board of Review with the certification filed electronically in February 2008. 

The Notices of Open Book Session and Board of Review were published in The Messenger July 9^th and July 23^rd.   Notices for both meetings were posted in 5 locations: The Clerk’s residence, Town Hall, Country Corners Bait & Tackle, Yukon Trails Camping & Lyndon Hardware in Lyndon Station and the town website.

The Open Book Session was held on Monday, July 27th from noon to 2:00 P.M.

The assessment roll has been provided with no apparent errors noted at this time.  

The town assessor was sworn in by Onofrio. Members of the Board were sworn in when taking their oath of office in April 2009. 

There was one objection filed with the Clerk. 
The following objector appeared before the Board of Review:
Connie Luebke  (Parcels 715.08 & 715.09) – Decision – No Change.  Notices of Determination given at that time.  Detailed Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision for each of the listed parcels are available by request. 

After all objectors were heard, a motion was made by Schneider to adjourn the Board of Review, seconded by Schneider; carried by a voice vote of 4 ayes.
