TOWN OF KILDARE
BOARD OF REVIEW
July 23, 2007

Members Present: Town Chairman, Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and Dan Lapp; Town Clerk, Beth Onofrio; Board of Review Alternate, Linda Winterstein

Also Present: Patrick Hart of Hart Appraisals, Inc. (Town Assessor)

Chairman Dennis Franek reconvened the Board of Review on July 23, 2007 at 4:20 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall .  

A motion was made by Beth Onofrio to appoint Dennis Franek as Board Chairman; second by Schneider and carried unanimously.

Addressing administrative matters, Onofrio reported the following:

1. The Notice of Open Book Session and Board of Review was posted in 4 locations (clerk’s residence, Town Hall, Country Corners Bait & Tackle & Lyndon Hardware in Lyndon Station) on June 16 and was published in the Messenger on June 21, 2007 .
2. The Open Book Session was held on July 6, 2007 from 4 – 6 p.m.
3.  Board Members were reminded that the Town of Kildare has an Ordinance providing confidentiality of income and expense information provided to the Assessor.  
4. All members met state requirements for Board of Review with the certification for Onofrio filed electronically in May 2007.
5. The assessment roll was reviewed with no apparent errors noted. 
6. Onofrio reported that she had not received any requests, either written or oral, to be heard by the 2007 Board of Review.

The town assessor was sworn in by Onofrio. Members of the Board were sworn in when taking their oath of office in April 2007.

No objectors appeared during the Board of Review.

Final adjournment was at 6:20 p.m. on July 23, 2007 .
