TOWN OF KILDARE
*SUMMARY OF TOWN BOARD MEETING

NOVEMBER 8, 2006

 

 

Present:  Chairman Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and Dan Lapp; Treasurer Patty Schluter; Clerk Linda Winterstein; and 8 citizens

 1.  Call to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall by Chairman Franek. 

 2.  Board approved the following:

     -  Minutes of the October 11, 2006 meeting; no corrections

     -  Treasurer’s report:  Total funds of $39,171.68; no corrections

     -  Ambulance and clerk’s report; no corrections

     -  Plan commission report; no corrections

 3.  Public Comments

     None

 4.  Permits

     -  Board approved the following:  building permits for Richard Durjak for a pole building and

C. T. Amelse for a garage.

     -  Chair to contact Kwit regarding payment of the $500 building permit fee for construction without a permit.

 5.  Business

     -  Board approved payment of all bills on the table.

     -  Agreement between Town of Lemonweir and Town of Kildare finalized regarding snow removal and ditch maintenance on segments of Town Line Road. 

     -  2006 budget status discussed; if no additional invoice received for 28th Avenue bridge reconstruction and no bill for snow removal, town will not have a deficit at the end of the year. 

     -  Michael Agnew (North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission) presented capabilities of his organization in preparing comprehensive plans along with cost to do so.  NCWRPC also has an “ala carte” menu of services it offers such as mapping, demographics, etc.    

 6.  December meeting agenda items:

     -  Annual review of ATV ordinance (#17B)

     -  Appointment of election officials for 2007

     -  Approve proposed newsletter articles

     -  Set caucus date

     -  2006 budget status

 7.  Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
