JUNE 14, 2006
Present: Chairman Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and Dan Lapp; Clerk Linda Winterstein; and 7 citizens.
Call to order at 7:05 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall by Chairman Franek. The assessment roll has been completed and Open Book Session held on June 12, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Board of Review scheduled for June 28, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Board of Review was adjourned at 7:06 p.m. until June 28, 2006 at 4:00 p.m.

Present: Chairman Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and Dan Lapp; Treasurer Patty Schluter; Clerk Linda Winterstein; and 6 citizens
1. Call to order at 7:07 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall by Chairman Franek.
2. Board approved the following:
- Minutes of the May 10, 2006 meeting; no corrections
- Treasurer’s report: Total funds of $65,453.11; no corrections
- Clerk’s report (correspondence); no corrections
No ambulance report was available due to lack of quorum at the May Ambulance Assn. meeting.
3. Public Comments
- Jim Hagen requested information on election training; clerk provided
- Blanche Rus requested information on building plans in Wisconsin River Highlands subdivision; no building permit applications have been received
- Blanche Rus requested clarification on whether the town trash contractor will pick up large items for fee as a special pickup; clerk to contact contractor.
4. Permits
- Board approved the following building permit applications: Charles Stock for a garage; Edward Rychtarczyk for a garage and fire sign; Ted Schnaare for a deck; Cheryl Klett for a deck roof.
5. Business
- Board adopted Ordinance No. 24, “An Ordinance Establishing a Plan Commission for the Town of Kildare, Juneau County, Wisconsin.”
- Board amended Town Code of Ordinances to include Ordinance No. 24 in Chapter 1 and revise the title of Chapter 1 to “Land Use/Land Division/Erection of Buildings.”
- Chair appointed, and board confirmed, following members of the Plan Commission: Leo Muller – June 16, 2006 through April 30, 2007; Patti Thompson – June 16, 2006 through April 30, 2008; Tom Guyse – June 16, 2006 through April 30, 2009. Town Chair and Town Clerk terms on the commission will coincide with terms of office (June 16, 2006 through April 10, 2007).
- Board approved compensation of $25.00 per meeting for plan commission members plus reasonable costs and expenses.
- Board approved 2006/2007 license renewal applications for Country Corners Bait & Tackle; Johnston’s Clinic; Crockett’s Resort; Circle W; Yukon Trails Camping; and Lemonweir Campsites. Board also approved operator’s licenses for agents and individuals working at these businesses.
- Board approved implementing WI Asbestos Regulations by placing a note on the bottom of the building permit and including a fact sheet with the building permit.
- Board approved a Town Recycling Compliance Assurance Plan (required by state).
- Board reviewed Ordinance No. 8, “Prohibition of Holding Tanks in the Town of Kildare,” and made no changes; ordinance to be re-enacted and recodified for currency at the July meeting.
- Board approved payment of all bills on the table.
6. July meeting agenda items:
- Accept additional segment of Robinson Drive
- Adopt Ordinance No. 8(A) – Prohibition of Holding Tanks in the Town of Kildare
- ATV signs

The Board of Review reconvened at 4:00 p.m. No objections had been filed nor did anyone appear before the Board of Review. Final adjournment of the Board of Review was at 6:00 p.m.
