*SUMMARY OF BOARD OF REVIEW

MAY 10, 2006

 

Present:  Chairman Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and Dan Lapp; Clerk Linda Winterstein; and 9 citizens. 

 

Call to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall by Chairman Franek.  Since the assessment roll is not yet completed, Board of Review was adjourned at 7:03 p.m. until prior to the regular town board meeting on June 14, 2006, when a definite date will be established.

*SUMMARY OF TOWN BOARD MEETING

MAY 10, 2006

 

Present:  Chairman Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and Dan Lapp; Treasurer Patty Schluter; Clerk Linda Winterstein; and 8 citizens

 

1.  Call to order at 7:05 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall by Chairman Franek. 

 

2.  Board approved the following:

     -  Minutes of the April 12, 2006 meeting with two corrections

     -  Treasurer’s report:  Total funds of $72,489.85; no corrections

     -  Clerk’s report (correspondence); no corrections

No ambulance report was available

 

3.  Public Comments

     -  Dave Singer regarding publication of notices in The Messenger of Juneau County instead of something like the Wisconsin Reminder; separate dates for open book session and Board of Review; next town revaluation.      

 

4.  Permits

     -  Board approved a fire sign application by Alfred Baker on Amherst Trails

     -  Board approved the following building permit applications:  John Reinert for a pole shed; Woodcraft Quality Homes/John Kwasniewicz for a frame house.  Woodcraft/Kwasniewicz’ permit conditioned upon receiving sanitary permit.

 

5.  Business

     -  Board awarded 2006 road maintenance contract to Scott Construction, Inc., Lake Delton, WI.  Scott’s bid was the only one received and complied with all bid requirements.

     -  Board tabled request by Crockett’s Resort for variance to town holding tank ordinance since agent was not at the meeting.

     -  Annual town clean-up landfill fees were $355.21; 1.91 tons of tires collected and 0.47 tons of trash.

     -  Clerk reported that JC Board of Supervisors has decided the county will prepare its comprehensive plan after towns have completed their plans. 

     -  Clerk awaiting comments from town attorney on second draft of Plan Commission ordinance.

     -  Board appointed Dan Lapp as representative to meeting(s) held by JC Land Information Office regarding rural fire sign problems.

     -  Board approved Nora DeVoe as successor agent for Yukon Trails Camping

     -  Board approved revision to Ciciva subdivision of parcel 29014TKL747 (off Robinson Drive) so that the two 20-acre parcels run north/south instead of east/west.

     -  Board approved all bills on the table.

6.  June meeting agenda items:

     -  Proposed plan commission ordinance

     -  WI asbestos regulations

     -  Recycling Compliance Assurance Plan

     -  Review Ordinance #8 – Holding Tanks Within the Town of Kildare

     -  Accept additional 0.13 mile segment of Robinson Drive

7.  Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
