TOWN OF KILDARE

*SUMMARY OF TOWN BOARD MEETING

NOVEMBER 9, 2005

Present:  Chairman Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and Dan Lapp; Treasurer Patty Schluter; Clerk Linda Winterstein; and 3citizens

1.  Call to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall by Chairman Franek.

2.  Board approved the following:

     -  Minutes of the October 11, 2005 meeting; no corrections

     -  Treasurer’s report:  $81,256.32; no corrections

     -  Clerk’s report (ambulance/correspondence); no corrections

3.  Public comments:

     -  Board provided Patti Thompson with comments regarding ATV sign postings

     -  Chairman requested input from those present on whether building inspection fees should continue to be included in town building permit fees or separate.  Matter to be placed on December agenda.

4.  Permits

     -  Board approved the following building permits:  Mike Hadac for a pole shed on West Limits Road and Sherrie McGowan for a garage on 58^th Street.

     -  Board approved the following driveway permit:  Charles Tupa (Lot 2 off 24^th Avenue/Cty N)

5.  Business

     -  Board accepted River Highland Drive in the Wisconsin River Highlands Subdivision as a town road.

     -  Board approved purchase of a treasurer’s laptop computer with printer and software/ programming for property tax collections and record keeping.

     -  Board appointed Patty Schluter as the new Ambulance Association representative with Linda Winterstein as the alternate.

     -  Board approved all costs associated with recertification training for chief and alternate chief election inspectors for the 2007/2008 election term.

     -  Board approved all bills on the table.

6.  December meeting agenda items:

     -  Proposed amendment to ATV ordinance (to exclude Town Line Road)

     -  Increased building inspection and building permit fees

     -  2006 newsletter articles

7.  Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
