Text Box: TOWN OF KILDARE * SUMMARY OF TOWN BOARD MEETING JANUARY 12, 2005 Present: Chairman Leo Schneider; Supervisors Dennis Franek and Robert Konemann, Sr.; Treasurer Patty Schluter; Clerk Linda Winterstein; and 8 citizens 1. Call to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall by Chairman Schneider. 2. Board vote unanimously to approve the following: - Minutes of the December 8, 2004 meeting - Treasurer's report: $314,712.65 total funds of which $247,961.96 is from tax collections; $218,317.04 must be paid to county and schools for January tax settlement - Clerk's report (ambulance and correspondence) 3. Public comments: - Dan Pope outlined plans for splitting parcel 29014TKL471 on 54th Street - Ken Rogge thanked the board for approving his fireworks permit and the overall good job the board is doing 4. Building permits: None submitted. Outstanding issue is no response from property owner on Old HH to town letter of December 15 regarding erecting a structure without a permit. Supervisor Franek to contact property owner before matter is referred for legal action. 5. Business: - Board voted unanimously to postpone discussion on Bruce Johnston's campground plans to the February meeting. - Board voted unanimously to purchase fire signs pre-embossed with fire numbers for the fire sign replacement program. - Clerk to draft proposed amendment to building ordinance (culvert length and setback from public right-of-way). - Town website has been established (www.kildaretownship.com). Clerk to meet with website designer to discuss items to be posted and billing arrangements. - Board voted unanimously to approve all bills on the table. 6. February meeting agenda: - Bruce Johnston's campground plans (N3360 County Road HH) - Proposed amendment to building ordinance - Proposed driveway permit form/fee - Town website status 7.
