TOWN OF KILDARE

*SUMMARY OF TOWN BOARD MEETING

DECEMBER 15, 2005

Present:  Chairman Dennis Franek; Supervisors Leo Schneider and Dan Lapp; Treasurer Patty Schluter; Clerk Linda Winterstein; and 2 citizens

1.  Call to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Kildare Town Hall by Chairman Franek.  Meeting was rescheduled from December 14 due to the snowstorm.

2.  Board approved the following:

     -  Minutes of the November 9, 2005 meeting; no corrections

     -  Treasurer’s report:  $53,733.93; no corrections

     -  Ambulance report; no corrections

     -  Clerk’s report (correspondence); no corrections

3.  There were no public comments

4.  Permits

     -  Board approved the following building permit:  Jay Peabody for a log house on Oak Hill Road.

5.  Business

     -  Board amended ATV Ordinance to exclude Town Line Road along with dead-end roads and cul-de-sacs and to authorize individuals living on dead-end roads and cul-de-sacs to access ATV town ATV routes.

     -  Board amended the Town Code of Ordinances to replace ATV Ordinance #17(A) with Ordinance #17(B).

     -  Board approved increasing building inspection fees and building permit fees.  New building permit fees effective January 1, 2006:

            Frame/Stick-Building Houses                                          $450.00

            Modular/Manufactured Houses                                          350.00

            Mobile Homes/Building Additions                                     300.00

            Garages/Pole Sheds/Pole Barns/Decks/Porches              $125.00

            Commercial/Campgrounds                                              $200.00

Fees for yard sheds/decks/porches less than 200 square feet, fire signs, and penalties remain the same.

     -  Board approved January 2006 newsletter articles as presented by the clerk.

     -  Board approved all bills on the table.

6.  January meeting agenda items:

     -  Amend town ordinance [#3(A)] to include River Highland Drive

     -  Comprehensive (Smart Growth) Plan

     -  Review town land division ordinance [#4/4(A)/4(B)]

7.  Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
